Chiliad records triple digit license revenue growth; strong sales in commercial and government sectors forecasted for 2009
Enterprise Knowledge Discovery Firm Relocates to Washington Beltway Headquarters to Accommodate Growing Demand for its "Connecting the Dots" Technology
HERNDON, VA – (Mar. 2, 2009) – Chiliad, a pioneer in advanced enterprise-class information discovery and knowledge extraction solutions, announced today that it has achieved several internal performance benchmarks for 2008, including a triple digit increase in its software revenue from the previous year. Chiliad’s performance increase is attributed to CEO Dan Ferranti, who last year led the transition of Chiliad’s patent- pending Discovery/Alert TM software and Global Knowledge Discovery TM technology from use as federal government intelligence and investigatory solution to a broad-based commercial application. This groundbreaking technology has helped the firm attract significant world-renown corporations into deploying Chiliad’s "Connect the Dots" capability across distributed and/or disparate data, repositories, and applications. While government officials previously attributed Chiliad with providing "the Holy Grail" of knowledge extraction, all of Chiliad’s new business clients are now reporting "amazing" results, " more significant business value than any other solution" , and "near instantaneous return on investment".
Chiliad achieved the following milestones in 2008:
- Commercialization of Chiliad’s Discovery/Alert TM software more than doubled Chiliad’s existing customer base from the previous year.
- License Revenue increased by more than 300% compared to the previous year.
- Chiliad relocated to Herndon, Virginia, doubling office space in order to accommodate new staff.
- Full-time staff grew by more than 20%.
