Federal Sales Executive

Location: Herndon, VA

We are seeking a highly qualified senior sales executive with a track record of success in selling software solutions to government enterprises.

Chiliad has developed and licenses, primarily to the US intelligence, defense, and law enforcement communities, a distributed software platform for all-content information sharing and situational awareness – cross-division, cross-agency, and cross-domain (classified and unclassified sources). The Chiliad Discovery/Alert software enables thin client, network based distributed search and analysis, fusion, alerting, concept extraction, navigation, and collaboration in parallel across decentralized and centralized structured databases, diverse file system content, web content, and streaming content at massive scales for national security applications.

Our patent-pending software was specifically born out of the need to overcome the information “stovepipe” problem- the nation’s principal vulnerability on September 11, 2001. Investigations into 9/11 concluded that "Connecting the Dots" across information stored in incompatible databases, documents, applications, and repositories would provide the proactive, real-time situational awareness necessary to interdict and avert a similar problem in the future. 

Used by over 12,000 Government analysts and agents daily to gain real time situational awareness in seconds across unlimited amounts of data scattered among distributed IC Community sources, Chiliad software is acclaimed by senior government officials as “the holy grail of knowledge extraction in the post 9/11 world” 

In today’s exploding data rich but knowledge poor world, this need not only applies to government investigatory entities, but also to all other types of government and business applications as well.

Description:

Aggressive pursuit, development, and capture of new account opportunities resulting in the sale of Chiliad’s software products to various Federal agencies. Candidate must be a hands-on self starter that can hunt and take the lead prospecting, qualifying, and closing, along with self-supporting bid preparation, proposal development and presentations. Self- create and execute marketing strategies within assigned accounts in order to achieve results. Must also develop strategic alliances with other technology companies and solution providers in support of this mission. 

Responsibilities:

As a key member of the Chiliad organization, you are responsible for:

• Driving  new business development and achieving assigned  sales results
• Working closely with clients and partners  to manage their expectations
• Rapidly grow the pipeline and close new business

Requirements:

• Strong  quantifiable track record selling complex software solutions for 10+ years overall and 5+ years  within Federal   
• Primary experience selling big deals in the multi- million dollar plus price range.
• Executive level “rain maker”  fostering strategic management decisions from the top down at the “C” and Senior Executive  level
• Has a rolodex to prove the above which includes relationships such as CIO, CTO, Chief Scientist, Deputy Undersecretary, etc.
• Consistently  earning lots of $$ and has  A W-2 history to prove it
• BS, MBA or equivalent -must be both business astuteand technology savvy
• Experienced in business intelligence, large scale data analytics, enterprise search, and related applications
•  “Hand’s On” achiever that can operate in a small company, entrepreneurial environment  without a huge support staff to do everything for them
• Strong people/communication skills – must articulate well at senior levels
• Possesses a disciplined sales approach and is a believer in sales processes.
• Is a self-starter who can qualify & drive sales opportunities individually while leveraging company technical resources as required for assistance.
• Local to the DC Metropolitan area

Pluses:

• Prefer experience in INTEL community, national security community, and DOD.
• Current Background Investigation completed  with DHS, INTEL and DOD
